PAC-12 SELECTS GAMEDAY MERCHANDISING TO RUN THE RETAIL OPERATIONS FOR THE INAUGURAL PAC-12 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Gameday Merchandising, a world-wide leader in sports retail merchandising and retail facility management based in Colorado, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the PAC-12 to be the exclusive merchandiser for the Inaugural PAC-12 Football Championship which will feature the winner of the PAC-12 North versus the winner of the PAC-12 South. The game will be played on December 2, 2011 at the venue of the team with the better record of the two participants.
The deal also has licensing and wholesale elements to it which will allow participating schools and in-market retailers the opportunity to get the same products sold at the event.
“We are excited to work with the PAC-12 and their respective licensees on the PAC-12 Football Championship,” said Gameday Merchandising President Alan Fey. Being this is an inaugural event, we will need to set the bar very high and we plan to do so by using everything in our arsenal of retail assets to make sure the brand is represented in a world class way.”
